A Hamlet of Maninalkur Village about 20 Kms east of Bantwal towns has an old mosque, which was built by an ajila chief after it is said he was cured of disease by a Persian saint named Syed Baba Fakruddin who had settled for sometime in the village. Under the auspices of this mosque, an annual urus is held.
