WITH organic farming gaining momentum in the State, the Karnataka Government has come out with the novel idea of developing an "organic village" in every district.
Under this, at least 100 hectares of continuous land, preferably in a watershed area, will be selected in every district for the development of the organic village.
Moodambail village in Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada district is likely to become organic villages of the respective districts.
